REMEMBER HOW MUCH

You've forgotten my address, forgotten my phone,

Forgotten how I feel when I'm alone.

Forgotten my words, forgotten my song,

Forgotten that it's been so long.

If you remember to write or call,

If you come over and stay awhile.

If you hear what I say or sing again,

You'll remember how it was then.

You've forgotten my mailbox, forgotten my walk,

Forgotten what I said or how I talk

Even forgotten the reasons why you didn't stay,

Forgotten the words I did, or didn't, say.

If we could remember what was there,

If you would come back from who knows where.

Then we would forget what was unfair,

And you would remember how much I care.
