WHISPER

(stars fall out of heaven)

I'll take it from a whisper that you're in love.

And as the sea reflects in the stars,

The starlight places a necklace above your heart.

I will count each ray, and pull each chain,

Until the stars fall out of heaven.

And I will tie their lost directions

Into the spider webs of light

For you to lie in as your bed.

I will lie next to you 'til eyes are open,

And when the first songfest of birds at dawn

Crashes between the ringing of the bells,

Our dreams shall be our lives.

We shall rise up the stairway of angels,

Exhaled as white steam by a cold god,

His breath forming a platform for the clouds

And just for your feet to touch.

I will count each ray, and pull each chain,

Until the stars fall out of heaven.

I'll take it from a whisper that you're in love

And that love is more than I understand.

But somehow to know that you care,

Makes this moment last forever.
